With JAMES, you enjoy maximum safety and freedom. Whether at home or on the move, help is just a push of a button away. To ensure that your JAMES emergency watch is always ready for use, it requires our basic tariff - this establishes the connection that matters in an emergency. As an option, our supplementary tariff enables a connection to an emergency call centre.

Yes, after purchasing and activating the watch, it can be used for one month can be tested free of charge.
Please note: If the watch is activated at the time of purchase, the delivery time also counts towards this test period.
The basic tariff is necessary for the JAMES watch to work.
Your advantage: The basic tariff already includes a Europe-wide roaming SIM card - This means no additional effort for you!
The tariff also includes:
With the Additional tariff "Emergency call centre" you can supplement the basic tariff with maximum security and convenience. A professional, Emergency call centre manned 24/7 guarantees that a JAMES helper responds reliably to every alarm. If no relative takes over the alarm, the control centre immediately takes care of it and provides the necessary support - and the JAMES helper is there to help. at any time of day and also on public holidays!
An emergency call is triggered by pressing and holding the emergency call button on your JAMES watch for at least three seconds.
The watch then emits an acoustic signal, giving you the option of cancelling an unintentional alarm by pressing the button again. If the emergency call is not cancelled, the watch automatically starts calling your stored emergency contacts one after the other until a voice connection is established. At the same time, all emergency contacts are informed of the emergency by text message and receive your current location.

The JAMES emergency watches use roaming SIM cards with the prefix +41 (Switzerland - Swisscom) or +46 (Sweden - Tele2), which means that the watches automatically connect to the strongest available network in supported countries.
There are no additional costs for an alarm from the watch. Neither for the SIM card in the watch nor for the caller (helper).
For a normal call (not an alarm) from a helper to the clock, there are no additional costs for +46 (Sweden).
When calling from the EU to the watch's +41 (Switzerland) SIM card, you can additional charges may apply. This depends on your specific tariff. Some include minutes for international calls, others charge per minute.
No, the JAMES emergency call watch does not need to be paired with a smartphone. It works independently and can be set up and used directly - without the need for a mobile phone.
For relatives, however, there is the JAMES app, which offers additional convenience: It can be used to make settings on the watch and conveniently call up important information such as the location.
The JAMES app is primarily used to conveniently manage and monitor the emergency watch. It offers relatives and helpers an overview of the status of the watch and the option of making settings conveniently.
Important: Ordinary helpers do not need the app to respond in an emergency.
For relatives, however, the free app is a practical tool for using various functions of the watch, such as location queries or customising alarm contacts. The app is available for Android, iOS and also via a browser (web portal), thus ensuring maximum flexibility.
JAMES emergency watches are available throughout Europe. However, there are only a few dealers where the watches can be viewed on site.
However, to give you the opportunity to test the watch without obligation, we offer a free trial month. If you are not satisfied, you can return the watch free of charge after the trial period.
Yes, all JAMES B and R models are equipped with a fall sensor. However, it is important to know that, for technical reasons, the fall detection of all emergency watches on the market cannot yet guarantee 100% reliable detection of all types of falls. It is also important that the watches do not trigger a (false) alarm every time they are hit.
Examples of different types of falls:
How does the camber sensor work?
Manual alarm triggering:
In most cases, wearers can trigger the alarm manually after a fall. As most people are not unconscious after a fall or only lose consciousness for a short time, this is a reliable way of calling for help.
Note:
It is important that the watch is always worn! In most emergencies - whether a fall, fear or danger - help is then just a push of a button away!
Vital signs are usually measured manually by the wearer of the watch. An automated measurement can also be carried out as an option. This must be entered by the assistant.
What vital signs are measured?
The type of vital data that can be measured depends on the respective model of the JAMES watch:
All models: Steps and heart rate
B models: Additionally blood pressure, oxygen saturation and temperature
By flexibly adjusting the measurement intervals, you can optimise vital data recording to suit your needs.
Simply enjoy everyday life.
JAMES takes care of the rest.
